Forecast Discussion

A cold front will be sagging southward out of the area later today and tonight. Until the front gets clear, we’ll run the risk for showers, mostly during the afternoon and into tonight.

Skies turn mostly sunny for your Wednesday and it will be cooler. Under clear skies Wednesday night, a few upper 30s will be possible in outlying areas.

Thursday will be gorgeous with full sunshine with normal fall temperatures. Thursday night will be chilly, with even a few frost patches away from towns and cities. Friday will be nice, but clouds will be on the increase PM as a cold front approaches from the north and west. Showers will arrive later Friday night, continuing into at least the first half of Saturday.

Behind the front, a sharply cooler air mass will arrive on Sunday. This will be the coldest air thus far this very warm fall season. Scattered frost appears likely by daybreak Monday.
